What does the "D" designator stand for? "D" means "Dial". During the last production run a mistake was made on the dials. Nothing serious but enough to affect the contract.
The watches are Maraglow (non-Tritium) but the dials were marked with the "H3" and the Propeller designating them as Tritium. Because of the misprint, they either needed to be re-dialed at a great cost or sold at a loss. This watch done correctly on the dial is a 675.00 watch! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS WATCH. 25 Jewel Swiss Automatic
